What can I say? Magee, thank you for bringing us all together again. To my teammates and coaches, there are only a few magical periods in one’s life, if you are lucky! Being a part of the Verdugo family was one of those periods in my life. Over the last six or seven months, reliving the memories through conversations with Gee and others, as well as through the blog, have transported me back to that special time. I can’t help but smile everytime I think about the Verdugo days. It’s unfortunate that you can never really make others that weren’t a part of it to understand how great a time it was. Having the chance to see much of the old gang, to celebrate the memories again was priceless. I know I’m not alone when I say, I can’t wait for the next one!
